Treatment and prevention

While there are several treatment options for fatty liver disease, one should follow a strict regimen to control the liver size unless there is some serious damage, In that sense, prevention is a much better option than cure.

  1. Exercise on a regular basis
  2. Avoid any sort of alcoholic beverage
  3. Know the drugs that might be affecting your liver and promptly stop taking them.
  4. Partake in a healthy diet to get a hold of your cholesterol levels.

When it comes down to it, a fatty liver can be manages, but only if you maintain some sort f control on the matter. To that end, it is necessary that you manage your diet and partake in exercise. The goal of it all is intake only an adequate amount of calories to get you through the day, not the amount that give you short bursts of energy which then is transformed into lethargy.
